  • The yurt is very well-designed with impressive sustainable features. We especially loved the convenience of the outhouse bathroom; the use of hay was a very cool, eco-friendly touch! The shower was hot and refreshing the next morning. WiFi worked great. It was the perfect “along the way” stop, priced very reasonably. We stayed warm all night and did not need to use the heater. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and cozy getaway in Brevard!

  • Absolutely FANTASTIC stay for my niece and me! We wanted to do some hiking in the area and found this beautiful yurt. Everything was exactly as described and the space was delightful. Super cozy with soft lighting and a pristine outhouse. The heater kept us incredibly warm, even with the outdoor temperature dropping into the low 20s, and the WiFi was perfect for our needs. We could even stream the football game with minimal buffering! One of the best Airbnb experiences to date! Highly recommend!

  • Kristopher’s Yurt was an amazing place to spend the weekend in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Staying at his Yurt allowed us to feel like we were camping but still had all the amenities we could think of. It is off-grid but there was plenty of power available, lighting was well done, there was a private bathroom and great water pressure and temperature. The property is near the state parks in the area and centrally located to all the great towns. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

  • Kris went above and beyond in providing instructions and information regarding check-in, facility use, and amenities. He even provided a bundle of firewood and an extra butane canister for the stove so we never had to reach out and ask for another one. The space felt cozy and roomy at the same time. I would stay here again!

  • I’ve always wanted to stay in a yurt, so when I saw Kristopher’s listing, I decided to give it a try for one night. I’m so glad I did. The entire experience was both relaxing and a lot of fun—such a unique and memorable stay. Kristopher’s yurt has set the bar incredibly high. I have a feeling any future yurt stays might have a tough time measuring up!

  • My husband loves camping; I much prefer a toilet and bed—this was a perfect compromise. I thought I would not like the outhouse or outdoor shower, but the way the door closed to the outside, it didn’t feel like a separate space. And the shower was amazing. Kristopher was such a joy to communicate with. Extremely friendly and walked us through understanding how to use the shower and heater.

  • This was the perfect tranquil location in the Appalachian Mountains. This eco yurt was so quiet and serene; you really could soak in nature. We had clear nights to stargaze, which was beautiful. We could bring the dogs along for the stay as it is pet friendly. With hiking nearby, it was an ideal in-nature retreat for us. Definitely will stay again!

  • This yurt was the best place we’ve stayed so far. It was the perfect mountain experience for a couple from Florida! It was set up with so much care and attention to detail, right down to the instructions on driving in and what kind of critters we’d find in the area.   • This was our first time staying in a yurt and we had no idea what to expect. We absolutely loved it! The place was cozy and everything was so thought out. Everything you need is in the kitchen, shower, and bathroom. The air was crisp at night, and with a fan running, it was perfect. I hope other yurts out there can be this great!
