Permaculture Tour — $50 per person
Join us for a guided walk through Frostwood, where you'll see permaculture in action—from water systems and food forests to animal integration, soil building, and off-grid infrastructure.

Chicken Processing
Workshop — $100 per person
Learn the complete process of home-scale chicken harvesting. This hands-on workshop covers dispatch with a kill cone, scalding, plucking, evisceration, and cleanup.

Optional hands-on participation
Use of kill cone, scalder, and plucker
No experience necessary. Not suitable for young children or anyone sensitive to animal processing.
Goat Processing + Homestead Butchery Basics — $500 per goat, $200 per person
Learn how to harvest, dress, and butcher a goat using simple tools and field-tested techniques. This hands-on workshop covers rifle dispatch, skinning, gutting, basic cuts, and meat handling at the homestead scale.

Optional hands-on participation
Discussion of tools, workflow, and storage methods
No experience necessary. Designed for serious homesteaders and regenerative farmers. Not suitable for young children or anyone sensitive to animal processing.

$500 — Private booking (includes one goat, up to 3 attendees)

Self-Guided Kayak Trip — $100
Explore the scenic French Broad River on a self-paced 4-hour float through the heart of Transylvania County.
Route:
Start at Champion Park in Rosman, NC, and float ~4 hours downstream to the Island Ford Road Bridge (details and map provided upon booking). Transportation and logistics will be coordinated in advance.
Important: Missing your take-out point results in an additional tracking/retrieval fee. Call when you finish your float.
Includes:
Use of 2 kayaks (250 lb capacity each)
Paddles and basic life vests
River overview and orientation
Drop-off or pick-up (as needed)
